The Business Issue

Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) manages over 500,000 recreational vehicles, including boats, snowmobiles, and ATVs. They found it extremely challenging to track all these vehicles and access related data regarding their registration and renewal process.

The Solution

Developed a Boat, All Terrain, and Snowmobile (BATS) system using Oracle Developer 2000, Oracle 7.3, PL/SQL 2.3, SQR 4.0, and Windows NT which included different modules. This automated the entire process and increased the accessibility of data.
